The Orchid Hotel Shimla exceeded our expectations in every way! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with a delightful Pahari topi and a restaurant that stayed open late just for us. The staff were incredibly respectful and friendly, making us feel right at home. The location of the hotel is absolutely breathtaking. Despite the smaller rooms, the exceptional views more than make up for it. The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a wide variety of options and even accommodating personalized requests. We absolutely loved the Roof top- House of Glass restro, it provided a unique and enjoyable dining experience. The rooms themselves were excellent, offering spacious accommodations with thoughtful amenities like ample luggage space and comfortable seating areas. The bathrooms were cleaned daily upon our request. The food at the hotel was exceptional, especially the North Indian dishes like parathas, steamed rice, and dal. They even went above and beyond by preparing off-menu items like vegetable pakoras and vegetable subji. The Shimla Rajma Chawal served on a square platter was a standout dish. The hotel also impressed us with its attention to detail, such as sensor-activated bathroom lights and anti-slip mats in the shower cubicles. The service personnel were highly responsive and attentive to our needs. our stay at The Orchid Hotel Shimla was fantastic, thanks to the helpful and friendly staff. The rooms have a pristine decor with amazing views, and the hotel also offers a rooftop restaurant with a scenic valley view. The staff is incredibly humble and cooperative, making the stay luxurious. The hotel is well-managed with services like free Wi-Fi, valet parking, luggage storage, a bar/lounge area, and a fitness center. our experience was mind-blowing and definitely worth recommending.

Spent my Xmas here. Free chocolates and water, and a nice view of the mountains from the room were pleasant surprises. The location was great, with most attractions nearby. Breakfast was delicious and diverse, which was a plus.

The pictures of the rooms were deceiving. They looked spacious online but were cramped in reality.

Here, we experienced exclusive amenities such as a luxurious spa and wellness centre, indoor swimming pool, sauna, and steam room. The service was exceptional, and the massage was the best we've ever had. The sun terrace and garden area were perfect for relaxing. The restaurant served delicious meals, and we had the option of in-room breakfast. The staff was accommodating of our special dietary needs. Our room was equipped with private facilities and had lovely room advantages to make the stay even more luxurious.

Our only minor complaint was that the description of the location was not accurate. It is outside of the central area, but this is a peaceful and relaxing location away from the busy town.

The staff was super friendly and made us feel like VIPs. The rooms were dope, with enough space for all our swag. And let me tell you, the food was fire! We feasted on North Indian dishes like parathas and Shimla Rajma Chawal that were straight-up mouthwatering. Plus, the view from the rooftop restaurant was hella stunning. Definitely a perfect spot for a chilled-out vacay with the squad!

The only thing we wished for was a happening party scene at the hotel. It would have been lit if they had a cool nightclub or a dope DJ spinning some sick beats.

We were pleasantly surprised by the spa services and the food was top-notch. The location was perfect for exploring the city and we felt right at home.

We did experience a few drawbacks during our stay. The pool was a bit small and the child play area could use some updating.
